Hi,

I am looking for a KL1 LA for the E2. Problem is my retailer says that they are back-ordered. If anyone know where they can be found, please email me.

One caveat, I live in Malaysia and am having to buy by credit card. I also have the merchandise sent to my retailer to be couried to me. So the store must be able to accept a foreign credit card payment and have the merchandise sent to an address other than the cc adress.

Anyone?

I bought a KL1 from Countycomm.com for only $39

They were great to deal with and had quick shipping with no extra handling charges..

ArrrrRRRRrrrrrGGGGhhhhHHhhhh.

dang it to HELL! a while ago ordered a buttload of
batteries from surefire, and while i was at it, some other
misc things, including for laughs (har) a Kl1, the free
shipping sorta offset buying it elsewhere. was ASSURED
everything was in stock.

well, guess whut. i called for a tracking #, and was
told the dreaded phrase "your order was not shipped
because the KL1 is on backorder, and since it didn't
ship, your batteries are also now on backorder".

nice! NOT.

they can't even provide me with the vaguest idea of
when they'd get KL1s. having just talked with a dealer
who "just got some in yesterday", i have to figure
surefire doesn't want my business (they probably sold
mine to fulfull an order ;>). growf. idjits.

ordering elsewhere now.

SF is infamous for saying things and not always being correct. A friend of mine ordered a KL1 three days ago from SF and hasn't heard anything. I would reccommend saving the money and buying indirectly. Heck, you might save some time while your saving money. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

hugodrax,

I'm not sure if your question was directed at me. We do have SureFire E1e/KL1 and E2e/KL1 packages that do not include the original bezel and lamp assembly. If you'd like the original equipment, you should purchase the two items separately on our website. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Thanks-

Dan.

That would be a good deal for an E1- I never use the incadescent lamp anymore. However, the E2 is nice with the 65lu beam.

Hey Kevin, are you the same Kevin Tan that designs knives for Joy Enterprises (Fury brand)?

I got mine from Dan at Tactical Warehouse, should be here Thursday. I don't know if I've ever had service like that. This guy actually called me back after I left a message on his machine. Knows his stuff and ships fast, what else is left, may I ask? Thanks Dan. dtsoll

I ordered an E2e, KL1, and two boxes of batteries on 022003 from Surefire. Called 022703 and was told KL1was backordered, so I asked them to ship in-stock items. 030703, no delivery so I call and now find out that KL1 in stock but batteries back ordered so I canceled my order and got my E2e+KL1 thru a member. Today I receive my canceled order!?
Not very happy.

I was wondering the same thing. He's pretty infamous over there at bladeforums.

Can´t help but think about Surefire and Arc Knockoffs after reading the thread on bladeforums, imagine what knockoffs would do to the flashlight market.

BTW this is the thread we are talking about pretty large read.

Bladeforums

And if you go to the last page you can read that the Kevin that posts there and maybe here too is NOT the person who makes the alleged knockoff knives.
