Is it OK to put the High Output and Extreme Output bulbs into Surefire Nitrolon lights, (G2, G3)?

I was thinking about running the LF HO-9, 320 lumens, in a Surefire G3, powered by three 123a batteries. Should I be worried about overheating or melting?

I ask for two reasons

#1 The Nitrolon G series are NOT listed in the "Compatible with:" section on the Lumens Factory web page.

#2 Most of the super bright LED drop in makers recommend metal lights for heat sinking. Is this the case here?

Thank You.

Ring Surefire and ask them is the G3 ok with the P91. If they say yes you will be ok, if not I would trust the manufacturers judgement of their products capability. I personally prefer metal bodies for high output lamps, they dissapate the heat better.
