So I have a 36 Volt electric bike, it uses dual headlights and a single taillight that combined draw about 40 watts. They really suck the batteries down fast. I would like to replace it with a LED setup. Just a quick compare puts the dual headlight about as bright as my direct drive Cree P4 (but the bike beam is really nasty). I want something quick and easy; are there any dropin bulbs I could use? Or should I just wire a group of led's in series and put a resistor in there? The goal is to save power.
