Dear friends,

We have released the new versión of the patented Barbolight traffic wand. It fits Surefire, Streamlight, Inova, Pelican, McGizmo... every flashlight with a head diameter less than 36 mm.

It is a foldable traffic wand, pocketable, which is for the same light near five times as bright as conventional cones.

The improvements over the V. 1.0 is the quality of the plastic, which has been modified to stand from -30 ºC to +50 ºC. (-22ºF to 122 ºF), and will not suffer if accidentally is creased (not folded)

As the previous versión has this features:

Volume is just 3% of regular traffic cones.
Weight is just 20% of regular traffic cones.
Brightness is 500% greater. When moved brightness is not even and varies, making a kind of strobe effect.
Near 50% of the drivers perceive it (start braking) at double distance, 100% of the drivers can perceive it sooner than regular cones.
Once fitted on the head is secured with a double sided Velcro strap, which is strong enough to stand the wind generated by an helicopter nearby.

A very good accessory for your flashlight, specially for LEO's, EMT, firefighters, campers, rescue...

It is made in two colors, bright yellow (greatest visibility) and white ( turns your flashlight into a lantern.

The pics were ready yesterday, but unfortunately too many problems with the access to CPF didn't allow me to post them.

Here they are:

1. You can see a folded traffic wand, and another one fitted on a Barbolight U-04.

2. Same picture, but with flashlight switched on.

3. Here is a sequence, comparing two Barbolights U-04, both using a Lux III, at 12 m distance, same setting on camera. One of the lights (the left one) has a Maglite cone fitted. The right one is the Barbolight traffic wand. You can see on the wall how the light comming from the Barbolight is projecting much brighter. The picture at the bottom shows both lights switched off, but the reflective surface of our traffic wand makes it visible. That means that visibility will get increased by incoming vehicles(lights)

Any plans for a red one?

Red does not perfomr well at all with LED lights, but with incans. Bright orange instead is a good option for LED's.

Here is the picture

We have measured when compared to regular cones that bright yellow one five times brighter and bright orange three times.
