Is Fenix body a circuit?

Do Fenix lights (or metal lights, in general) use the body as a circuit? Seems like something I read in one thread implied this. If so, do you lube the threads? Does lube from the O-rings potentially cause a problem?

Thinking of ordering a L1T R80 and a couple of Peak LED lights...

Yes, it uses the body for the negative side. Over-lubing a Fenix does cause some unreliable behavior. Just apply a thin layer of NyoGel to the o-ring and call it good.
