I was up late last night playing with my lights.:D They are a Streamlight Pro-Poly 4aa luxon and a LOD-CE cree light with a 10440 running it. The LOD-CE has a much more usefull beam for walking or just to light up a room than the Streamlight does. The Streamlight does throw quite a bit further but I think it is better to have a light with lots of spill and less of a hotspot for walking. I was looking at the Surefire L4 and read lots of good stuff about it. It just seems like old technology to me with all the new Crees and Rebels and such. I am looking for ideas for a new light that I could use with LOTS of spill and a nice SMOOTH BRIGHT beam. Thank you in advence for your bright ideas. :twothumbs
