Best throw AA on Deal Extreme ?

I'm on a budget so can't go a Fenix or Surefire etc........

What's the best AA ( single or multiple ) with the most throw on DX ( or similar ) ?????

I'm must starting out and so far have only purchased MTE 5-Mode 100 Lumens Rebel Flashlight (AA / 0100 BIN) . Compared to my Maglite Mini...... no comparison.

Now I've got the bug......

Was looking at the UF C2 HAIII but..........

got lots of NiMH AA batteries , and while I realize you probably have to look at other batteries types to get real throw , I don't really want to have to reinvest in new batteries and chargers if I can help it. More money and more batteries to keep charged....

Any help welcomed......

The on that does 18500 Lux at 1m uses 2 18650 batteries, it's this one. You will need 6 NiMh batteries to equal that voltage and 6 AA batteries will not fit that light. The best throwing AA light on Dealextreme seems to be the Ultrafire C5 with 2 AA batteries(review) or the Candlepower light. The furthest throwing single AA light will probably be the Kaidomain 5-mode.

The UF C2 HAIII isn't 1XAA or 2XAA. The C3 is a good 2XAA, and the Jet Beam MKIIx is a good 14500 (still available at Supertactical). The MTE Rebel 0100 5-mode is OK but isn't as nice as the MKIIx.
