Hi all!
First post here and this seem to be a really great forum if you have anything to ask about that contains a LED.
By little of a coincident so did i find the DX page and saw hundreds of LED flashlamps at a price that i didnt thought was even possible for the power levels they had. But they didnt seem to be of bad quality or so according to reviews here and i really needed a stronger one then the big halogen bulb one i bought for like for 15 years ago or so when white leds maybe just where about to be invented.
After that i had gone through all of the flashlamps at the site so did i after hours of searching find two that had what i wanted. These were the UltraFire Cree C3 and the Ultrafire WF-606A, good or bad choise? I have read some really good reviews on these here but i just cant decide which one. One big reason is that i would like to se how they compare at a distance, say 60 foot or so. There is a good picture on the Cree C3 on this but none at WF-606 but i havent been able to se any such test here only on much shorter distance.
I also believe that WF-606A would have a little better concentrated beam or so then the Cree C3 that has a smaller one since the first have a slightly bigger and longer reflector that could gather more light? But the same time so does it seems (at least from reviews here) that the WF-606A has a slightly light yellow tint to the light and C3 is more white, as i would like. Is this right? But the other hand so do i like the look on the WF-606B with its little bigger reflector.. *sigh* I just dont know which and i hope that maybe someone here maybe could help me with this. But which ever it will be so does it have to outperform my old halogen bulb flashlight if possible, but i dont think that should be any bigger problem?
