Hi all,

A question for those who are in the know: If you remove the bezel window of a g2z etc, is it still be expected to be water resistant (i.e. as waterproof as possible) when you re-install it? Any tips to ensure this? And any idiot proof install / uninstall instructions would also be appreciated :)

Thanks in advance.

Hi, the bezel has a ring with indentations on it,
You just need to unscrew this and the lens comes out and there is a gasket/seal underneath.
It will go back in no problem.

However, since you are messing with a seal that is not meant to be opened by the user, it is down to you to ensure you put it back together again in such a way as to ensure it is 'waterproof'.

Hi, you could reinstall the lens and test it without batteries and lamp, then see if it leaks.
