I have a WE Sniper 6A with CREE HO emitter. As a Deputy, I want my lights "topped off" after every use, because I never know when I'm going to need them for extended periods. I've heard that Li-on batteries will last longer if charged after short uses, rather than letting them discharge deeply.
I would like to design a charging cradle similar to the Inova T4, or something else that is a "drop in" type charger. I have a separate charger with battery leads, so all I really need is a way to have a holder connect to contacts on the Sniper. (I'm using 18650's) What have other people done with custom chargers?
I have spare batteries and a charger in the squad, but don't want the hassle of swapping batteries and keeping spares charged.
