1) Dorcy Focusing LED Flashlight 414252
2) Streamlight MicroStream LED
Now i've been looking at these 2 lights for a few days now, i've looked around CPF but couldn't find much on them cause i guess they are not on the high power or high end of the scale...
The reasons i find them interesting are
1) They are tail clicky and not twisties (which i find more convenient)
2) They are inexpensive/disposable
3) Small enough to hold them with my mouth for work in my computer and other areas where i need both hands free, but a head lamp wouldn't do...
4) They are simple to operate Click ON - Click OFF, no multi-mode stuff
So any first hand experiences with wither of these lights ?
Do they use Nichia leds ? In other words, should i expect a blue light ?
If so, would it be easy to swap the led with something whiter ?
I am leaning towards the Streamlight cause it's less bright than the Dorcy, so it will be handier for close up work.
Thanks in advance
John
