WANT A 3AA FLASHLIGHT

i am not very concerned about size of light.
i am a runtime, but especially maximum brightness kind of guy.
i'd like you guys to compare electrolumens 3aa led to maglite 3aa.
i'm sure wayne can build a great light, but can anyone compare to mass produced, and then perfected lights?
i know his will be brighter, but how about his vs. the minimag converted to a cree or seoul.
has anyone had both or can compare waynes light to a modded 3aa?

maybe even compared in brightness to the new fenix rebel 100.
looking to get as close to 200 lumens or more from a aa size light.

i just sent in my 3aa maglite to be modded with a seoul led.
what do you guys think of electrolumens 3aa light.

I don't think Wayne's shipping them yet. Had assorted production problems.

My 1AA Lucidus XR-1 with 14500 is much brighter than a MagLED 2C in ceiling bounce mode but at tightest focus the Mag will throw better.
Big hotspot but not much spill light, just barely enough so I don't have to keep dipping the light to see what is at my feet. Note my XR-1 is Cree/Cree optic. All new orders will have the SSC/reflector instead. Which means hotspot size/throw/spill will be different.

Due to the limitations of the switch Wayne is limiting the LED to 900mA in the 3AA. He is running the LED up to 1400mA in some other lights.

900 ma will be pretty bright from a 3aa light.

anyone know what the 3aa maglite draws when modded with a ssc p4 or even stock from the factory?
