Fenix, I am waiting for something like the L2T V2 in the size of a single CR123. I just want two modes forward clicky as with the L2T V2.

4Seven, is something like this specification coming our way?

You can get that today...

Buy a L2T v2, and get a P2D body/tailcap -
the L2T v2 head will fit the P2D body
(as will the L1T v2 as they are the same head)
(note: the tailcaps are not interchangable)

Can you get a P2D with a forward clicky?

I did the same thing with my L2T V2.0 head. I put it on my P2D body, and then took the guts and rubber boot out of the L2T forward clicky end cap and put them in the P2D end cap. Came out like this....Simple high/low with a forward clicky and cr123a. Perfect cheap EDC. For me...The P2D lost out to the Novatac 120P though.

+1

I'd prefer a 2XCR123 body though.

Please bear with me because I have not stayed up with the latest technologies:sigh:

1. What does this combination give you?

2. I just ordered a L2T and L1T (2.0) today. I thought the L2T would be brighter, but if they share the same head..

I would love to get a simple to use clicky cr123 version. I own a few L1P's from when they first came out but have stayed away from the fenixes lately because of their @#$%&* UI that seems to be all the rage:mad:.

Could you confirm that the L1T V2 has the exact same head as the L2T V2? That mean I can use Li-ion for the L1T V2 head. I am thinking of getting the L1T V2 and P2D. I would then change the body around.

Take a closer look at the posted pix in this thread. The heads are clearly labelled L1T/L2T V2.0 ;)

LOL, you are right. I immediate jump into conclusion that they are different because one is operating at 1.5V and the other is 3V.

Couple of points

1) T's are the only simple UI Rebels

2) Rebel T's only come in 1AA and 2AA varieties

3) Max output is from 2AA -> 3 volts

4) Substitute a single 3 volt CR123 to get 2AA performance in a much smaller package.

5) L2T + P2D body = P2T

Okay, I think I'm getting there:eek:

Looks like I need spend some more money for a P2D body.

The L1T/L2T head does in fact put out more when running on 3v (2 AA or 1 cr123) ?

Oh yes, though I might wait for a rebel 100 version if they ever make the upgrade. 175 vs 140 lumens.

Look like the LxT V2 cannot tail stand. :(

In order to save cost, I prefer Fenix come out with P2T Rebel 120 :).

Is there any problem if I put the L1T v2.0 head on P2D body? I mean whether the two-mode function works properly? Thanks.

Welcome to CPF. Did you happen to read my post #4 above? The two mode function does work with this combination using either the reverse clicky or the forward clicky.

Thanks a lot. Because I saw that the tailcaps of the two are not interchangeable, so I wondered whether the P2D's tailcap will work in two-mode.

I think I am going to order a P2D body for my L1T v2.0

Just make sure that when you order the P2D body that you order the tailcap also, because you are right....the L1T/L2T tailcap will not fit on to the P2D body.

This is nice setup...exactly what I wanted. What is the overall length, from end of boot to head? Are you saying that this "P2T" with a rebel LED is dimmer than the 120P?

I wonder if anyone has tried 3.0v or 3.6v Li-ons with the L2T/L1T v2 head since both are over 3 volts?
