Re: "Shorty" Quad Seoul

Very nice Mac.

That's a lot of lumens to be pumping out of such a small light.

BTW shouldn't this be in your new sub-forum under the Custom
Builders and Modders forum? :)

Re: "Shorty" Quad Seoul

If I am not mistaken Mcr20 reflectors are the same ones on the PD-S, so the profile is spill and throw combined?

Will there be enough space for grip with large hands? BTW it looks really compact..

Mac, what are the chances of doing up a body like this (even this very one?) with a 7-led (Cree pref.) setup? Or perhaps tuned for a 1D Li-ion?

The beams combine at 6 inches and beyond. As for the Large hand question I guess that would depend on the size of your hands :) I can hold it comfortable with medium sized hands.

To run 7 cree's you need at least 6c Li-Ions so the body would have to be at least 2x longer.

Re: "Shorty" Quad Seoul

That would be no problem; in your 7-cree sub-1D mod, did you run it off 6 CR123a's? (sorry to go a bit OT but this will be my last q...I saw this mod of yours for sale elsewhere and missed the opportunity to buy it, was wondering if you'd be able to build another; I emailed you asking but perhaps it got caught in spam filter). Thanks Mac!

Re: "Shorty" Quad Seoul

This is probably a dumb question but....does it come with the battery?

No Batteries Included :)

They can be purchased from Lighthound in the states or from AW himself. I you wanted one with the light I do have an extra that can be included for cost.
