I pre-ordered the P3D Premium 100 back in July, but it arrived with a flaw in the engraving. David said to return it for replacement, but since he was already sold out, my new unit would come from the next batch.
Well, the replacement arrived a few days ago, with the same excellent beam as my original one. I did notice a few differences though. The head now has what appears to be serial number engraved on it, opposite the side that says ""P3D Premium 100". The number is "US011828". The head also has some knurling, just below the engravings. My older one just had two shallow rings which didn't provide any grip for twisting the bezel (not that much is needed). Finally, the LED now has a reflective "washer" around it, covering the previously exposed PCB. This seemed to draw the most complaints from those who pre-ordered. It never really bothered me, but the reflector area does have a cleaner look now.
