I'm looking for a quality single AA whose diameter is as thin as a standard minimag. Know of any?

Most 1xAA lights will be as thing as a MiniMag. All of the 1xAA Fenix lights come to mind, an Inova X1. I am sure there are many, many others.

Well, this one kinda(Ultrafire WF-606 Cree) looks like a minimag when using 2 AAs. But it should be bigger and brighter.

1 AA light with around the same width as a minimag, the head part or the body part, many 1 AA lights are in between those two diameters.

The newer Fenix 1AA lights are 123A wide to maintain LEGO-ability between the L and P series. To get a skinny 1AA Fenix you have to go back to their Luxeon lights - L1P, L1S, Civictor V1.

EDIT
For a small single AA light look at Jetbeam CLE or Dexlight X.V.
If you want a clicky the MTE C2 5-Mode SSC is thin but long.

Did you ever consider an AAA sized light?

EDIT EDIT
Jetbeam is releasing new versions of their lights with better quality control.

Thanks, fellas. I'm trying to maintain use of a holder that was made for the AA mm. If a light is too thick, it will not fit.
