Ind I'd like to a fit a Cree P4 i had lying around.
Unfortunately this light is kinda weird (well for me at least)
It has no driver IC, but a big fat white ceramic thingy (excuse my terminology but i got no idea what it is) that says MTE 250.
Also the light has 2 modes, but since it's got no IC i guess theyre done thru the clicky?
I'm mainly looking to know.
1) with this 2 level clicky, can I use an driver IC?
2) If so, will this be ok?

This light will be given away, so i want to do this mod for as cheap as possible, and hopefully using leftover parts from some other projects.
