This light uses a 0.5 watt LED, so it will not be anywhere as bright as the 4AA Model.

I really wish Streamlight would upgrade the 4AA.
Updated circuit, probably a SSC, and POW, throw and runtime hella good. I don't need a real fancy UI. On, and Off work just great for me. Come on Streamlight!!!

I've worked with 0.5watt LED before and generally not impressed. although was impressive before the emergence of the first luxeon I flashlight and only 5mm LEDs were popular its a pretty short-lived technology IMO.
and no, I don't own one and never seen one, apparently neither does Doug from FLR and Craig from LEDmuseum :candle:
