What is the point of 2 extra holes? Did it come this way from Don? The reason I ask is because I have a Ti PD-S that has these "extra" holes and couldn't figure out why they were there for the life of me.

Well one could use them for threading a lanyard through, although I
don't know if this was the purpose intended for them.

That was the intent on these but so few were used for this I made it easier on myself and the machine shop and eliminated them as the Ti program evolved. (easier on myself? ever try to mount a pocket clip to holes that aren't threaded? )
