What Emitter to use

Hi Guys

I'm going to mod a terralux 6EX to use in a 4D Mag with aspheric lens.
in other posts its been mention that a forward emitting LED would be better but what would you consider to be a suitable candidate

help would be greatly appreciated

aspheric can only focus the light directly emitted by the led,
so a smaller beam angle should be better

Specifically, the Cree Q5 if you can find a bare emitter because it is the highest Luminous Flux single die Cree XR-E White LED available.
