UV light with Cree? On AA cells?

There are several UV 5mm LED lights that operate on 3-AA cells.
Most are not Cree dies. Cree's in that size are available.

Cree has a 1 Watt UV and a 3 Watt UV which provide a lot more output.

I have made many rechargable 1 Watt & 3 Watt models with #18650 batteries.

I've built over 50 of them.

Some in rectangular bodies with aspheric lenses (link in Signature).

Some in HA III UltraFire Flashlight bodies.

All with #18650 2400mah cells.

You could go with a MiniMag Sandwich module, you'd need to get creative to mount the cree on a sandwich emitter board though.

Yes, I use a TerraLux TLE-5UV drop-in in my Minimag. I do believe it uses a Cree emitter. Try the folks at LED Replacement (who also offer a CPF discount). I've been very pleased with mine.
