The 3 MCR20's put out a very nice beam with a nice hotspot and plenty of flood.

As for runtime the Flupic is completely adjustable for low and high modes. In burst mode the light draws approximately 2.5 amps which would be around 1.5 hours runtime. I usually set low mode to draw around 100ma which would be 33 hours of runtime and high to around 1 amp which would be over 3 hours. High mode is over 300 lumens and plenty bright.
