After reading some (a LOT!)of the posts here, you guys are Way too far ahead for me to follow. I am wanting to make an LED light source to go on my feeder. It's legal here in Texas, for hogs. I have a 6 volt feeder, on which I would like to put a rechargeable battery, solar charger, and a fairly bright LED light source, with a photo switch, to turn it on at dark, and off at dawn, like a yard lite. The feeder circuit would be independent of the light, but run off the same battery. I can get a battery and solar charger from the local Radio Shack, or Wal-Mart, but there may be better sources. Can anyone help me out on this? I would prefer a green or red LED, but if white is best, that's okay too. Please point me to a pertinent thread, or sketch out a schematic that you could email.
