There are other lamps available from the aftermarket and/or you could go with 2 17500 rechargable L-ion batteries that will last almost as long as 3 cr123a batteries except when they run out of juice you can just recharge them instead of throwing them away. The rechargables are not recommended for the HOLA MN11 lamp because of the current draw but they will work with other lamps. Another benefit to the 17500s is that you will get slightly more lumens out of them because they don't sag as much as cr123s do.

Just a thought if your main concern is the battery consumption rate.
