I recently bought the VEC142.
A light with a 12v 3amp battery and a 25watt halogen bulb. Also can be used as 12v powersupply.

I was not happy with the runtime and changed the bulb for a MR16 3 watt led module.

Easy job, take the lamp apart, take the halogen bulb and the holder out. Use a dremel to make the hole, to fit the mr16 module. Attach a mr16 socket to the power supply. Stick the mr16 thru the hole, attach it to the socket. Glue the mr16 module to the reflecter of the lamp. Assemble the light, A PRESTO a new light, with a longer runtime.

I choose for a mr16 module since there are nummerous options:
30, 60 degrees, 3 or 5 watt and different colors like cold white even a RGB light module can be put in. When RC controlled gives you various options in light colors and strobe options.
