Since I so enjoy my Zebralight and can't pull the trigger on a Mule, I decided to build my own handheld flood. Body is a MiniM@g with Seoul USWOH star and DX 5 mode driver. Powered by two e2 lithiums. I've temporarily used hose washers between the star and lens, and circuit and star. On high, the M@g mule has less throw than the Zebralight however the Zebra's 120" beam makes it a real thrower by comparison.

I'd like to epoxy the emitter and driver into one coherent module. Can I do this without compromising the integrity of the circuit? If so, any particular glue or epoxy work best?

DX driver wired to emitter - heatsink will be epoxied to star

Here's an idea of beam angle - looks like about 170"

for comparison, LOD reb100 on high
