It took me a few minutes to remember that I must use a 10440. I'm a stoopid head.

Anyone know how to avoid this? As you can see the head is screwed on as far as it will go and the o-ring is still visible?

I know the ARC's had different generations. You may need to try a body from a different gen.
The body that came with mine has writing around the opening and is longer between the knurling and the end of the body.

Do you think that is enough reason for a replacement from ARC? It does it to a slightly less degree even when running the stock head and standard battery...

I am more than pleased with the Chimo mod, awesome work. Not sure how everything fits in there though?

Hey Sunnyboy,

Measure this...



The head: From the top of the oring groove to the surface of the + battery solder connection should be about 8mm.

The tail: Insert a stick(no dirty/silly jokes here) in to the battery tube. Make sure it is in the middle there is a rivet? there mark the stick at the lips of the tube. It should be ~53.30mm.

Btw this is very old ARC AAA. I don't have many lying around.

I measured mine and the body seems spot-on. The head however is 10mm.
