Hi,

When will 'they' start bringing out lights with a really low - low, on a high powered EDC flashlight? Is it particularly hard to do? I would think not with current technology (no pun intended)

I know a few companies that do but they are costly and or have complicated UI for the untrained.

And while they are at it, how about a soft glow feature so we can find it in the dark. Locater flash is annoying. :shakehead

Regards

My VB-16's lowest level is a very low low. About 1/1000 the current drain of the highest level, as near as I can measure. Don't know if later VB-16 models at DX and Kai do this or not, but they're cheap and available at $32 or so.

The LumaPower LM31 is on sale at BatteryJunction for $31 right now and I think there is a CPF coupon for 5% off. It is very well made and has a rear button clicky. One click very low, second click very high. I'm totally happy with mine. They ship fast too.
