This was my first real flashlight, purchased when I joined the fire department back in 1975. It has been through the wars and still works beautifully. The head is 3/8" thick aluminum! It can smash out a windshield and not blink an eye. But it's long in the tooth emitter-wise, and I'd like to update it with a nice intense emitter assembly. However, and this is important, I want to be able to go back to the original configuration by swapping the parts back. So, can I get what I want? Lots and lots of nice white LED light out the front, Surefire style? Should I (gasp) do an incan upgrade? What would you suggest?
