Hey guys,

So I have an aleph that I was upgrading. Just a simple desoldering of the led and dropping a seoul in and thats it. Well that's never it..I don't know if my iron ran too hot or what, but it just isnt working now. I've got a rather large tip on my iron and I couldnt really get the pinpoint solder job to heat everything properly. I think my solder joints are cold.

So I'm curious, who can try to save my emitter and redo what I did, or verify that I killed the emitter and can put a new one (seoul) in its place?

Also should mention it was a twoj being driven by a db917. Previous owner potted the battery contact side in thermal epoxy.

Should be fast and easy for someone with the skills.

Mods if this should be somewhere else lemme know and I'll repost elsewhere.
