Browsing the forums, I saw a few posts related to some Canadians having problems to order batteries from USA or oversea. It seems the customs confiscate the packages. I have myself ordered many times NiMH/Lithium/Li-Ion batteries from USA and Hong Kong, some packages has been opened or only processed by customs for a tax bill but I never had any package confiscated. How many Canadian have this happen? How many without any problem?

My orders of the last 3 months:
- 1 Li-Ion charger + 2 18650 cells from HK
- 16 Energizer CR123A from USA
- 20 Energizer Lithium AA from USA
- 24 SureFire CR123A from USA

I had an order of 80 Amondotech CR123A disappear once - never showed up.

Canada Post regulations prohibit primary lithium batteries as a hazardous material. NiMH and Li-ion (oddly enough) are considered safe. Don't have the links handy, but I posted them in a thread on those Amondo sale.
