This is going to be a 2 c mag with 3 Q5's and a maxflex I will post pics as I get to each part.Here is the sink with led's attached(next time I put the wires on the leds first;heatsinks suck

) I soldered some cu braid to the converter for heat relief. more to come.

Just in case you haven't seen this... link... tino_ale came up with the best way to mount the maxflex. I've got two quads in the pipeline... I haven't had the nerve to start yet... I don't feel I'm strong enough with the force yet or something!

Is it because the heat is sinked; so the lead cannot melt?

What kind of optics are you using and how is the beam?
