Need advice on 2 stage clicky!

Hey gang,

I'd like to have a 2 stage clicky on my Surefire 6p with these features:

- Momentary HIGH mode with partial press
- Each click operates HIGH/LOW/OFF, HIGH/LOW/OFF

Can anyone point me to one that does this? Thanks!

With a two-mode LED drop-in and a standard Surefire tailswitch, you could do this.

pbs, do you mean you want to be able to do SOS-style signalling only in high but use clicks to cycle from high to low? I don't know of a 2-mode drop-in or drop-in/switch combo that will allow you to do this. For example, the 2-mode drop-in that PTS sells will give you momentary high for the first press (or twist or click for that matter) but low for the second. That's true no matter what switch you have.

Yes, I'd like to be able to signal with momentary in high mode and use clicks to change brightness. Ideally, I'm looking for this sequence, starting from the off position:

OFF / (click) HIGH / (click) LOW / (click) OFF

Does this exist?

Don't think that exists without modding, unfortunately. There is a light that's sort of close, the Wolf Eyes D2AX-II, sold by Glen C out of Australia. It's got a tactical clicky, and you change modes by twisting the bezel. Here's a link to the relevant thread:

I'll check that out. I'd really prefer clicking or tapping to change modes, but if it doesn't exist I guess I'm stuck!

The Dereelight CL1H also has a twist to change level system for the two mode module. From what I know, there are no forward High-Low-Off clickie.
