Hi Steve,

Is is not a mod. It is a drop in, similar to the MN03 bulb that comes with the E2D. E-MT is completely reversible.

Hi Koala

I had a good read of the thread but decided against it due to the output with two cells being rather low and the beam being floody .
i have other lights that fit that criteria running on 1 cr123

For me the L1 represents better value at the moment but ill still consider this for the future as the E2D is a great light but sees very little useage now.

Thanks
steve

You are certainly right about L1 a better choice for a good flood light. I have a L1 modded with a 20mm Khatod Stippled reflector. It's has absolutely sweet floody smooth beam. The E2D reflector is originally designed for the MN02/3 bulb so it is not so suitable for a LED to be a throw light.
