WriteRight lens protection

hi,has anyone protect their Lexan lens with WriteRight layer? I'm thinking of doing but don't know if it will affect the light output.Will the WriteRight cause any stickiness to the lens?Would like to know.Lots of thks in advance.

There has been a great deal of information on WriteRight on CPF. Mostly it's been used for smoothing the beam, although it does sacrifice some of the light intensity.
