Somewhere along the line, someone is getting stingy on the lube on the AAA lights. Over the last 45-60 days, I've had several batches of AAA lights with totally dry o-rings. As we all know, lack of lubrication is not a fun experience. I had a batch of DS, Snow and Snow again (probably 8-10 lights total) and they were all dry as a bone.

I can easily rectify this, however a "normal Joe User" may not understand what's going on. His opinion of the light will be "It's too damn hard to turn-on".

I use lithium disulfide grease, and after awhile I get the gunk reeling in.

I wouldn't want to use petroleum distillate products. Others might.

100% silicone oil might work too...

Never had any of my 3 arcs lubed. geheheehee.
