Sold/Expired KL1-Seoul Mod, 1st Gen, must go! SOLD to Katdaddy!

Okay all, here's how this will work..

I had an old KL1 head -first generation, with the finned head and optics - that was just bumming me out. I dropped a Seoul P4 in and liked it quite a bit, but not enough to keep. It has to go.

It looks like this -



Notice there are blemishes in the finish - it was my first try at taking apart a Surefire head, and my pliers bit in a little deep. Not pretty, but not intended to be.

I'm going to start the light at $100, shipped, in the US. Overseas will cost an extra $10.

Every day that this isn't sold, I drop $10 from the price. Don't bother making early offers, as they'll be ignored. The price drop will come in effect when I post in the thread.

I love the KL1 design. I have one that Milky mod'ed and it is very sharp!!

Mags, no, I used the optic that came with the light. I wanted to keep the same beam, just make the color and everything a little better..

That could be the magic number. Just one question. What is the beam like on this? Is is floody or throwy?

Kat, it's kind of a mix of the two. It has a very bright, tight spot with quite usable sidespill. Works well in and outside, and the color temperature works really well for color rendition (better than any of the luxeon lights I've got)

How many lumens would you estimate it is putting out now?

I have no idea, honestly - I'd guess around 100 from my trusty eyeball meter. Seems brighter than a P60 in a Surefire, but a P61 seems a touch brighter.

This is on a single CR123 for the KL1-S..
