I'd like to see a low power Q5 drop in for the G2

How bout you? Maybe even a lower draw. With the Q5, you may be able to run it at 230ma and still get the same output as the stock module and be able to use the nitrolon head! LOL! Seriously, I think it would be a good idea. It would be a great disaster light with that extra runtime.

Why not just get a G2L? 80 lumen with a 12 hour runtime.

But I thought the G2L is really a 60L light with 4h30m runtime to 50%!
Oh wait that's if you run it for more than 10 min at a time, sorry.

I hear the output drops after like 10-15minutes. Besides you'll get more light from a Q5 and it will probably be whiter too.
