Just built my second ROP, using the latest FiveMega 6AA>2D adapter, MOP 8.38 reflector borofloat window, and Sanyo Eneloops. Only got down to limited testing, but I am very impressed. Fresh out of the pack, the Eneloops give a whiter beam than the Nosram 2700s I was using.
Next to test, probably the LuxLuthor custom battery packs. Being welded, they must have phenomenally low resistance. And the Elite 1700s are definately no slouch. Spent up the budget for this month though.
