I know there are plenty of folks out there are very familiar with this light. But I'm not one of them. Is output variable? Does it only take rechargeables or primaries?

I'm not sure about the rechargables, but I think it can use either, but would check it out before trying. No it is not variable.

I have a KI-LE also...I asked Mike directly, if the light would handle the RCR2, and he said no, primary only:shrug:

I doubt I'll try anything other than a primary, to test it. Then it'll be put away.
