I was challenged by the Mag with aspheric lens (http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=171008) and I wanted to have one too. There was no way I could find an aspheric lens so I disassembled a cheap earth shape clock covered with acrylic hemisphere in the front and back. It was lucky that it fits perfectly on my Mag 2D head. It is spherical but I can focus the beam very tightly. It has nicer throw than a stock reflector.
