Can the Pelican PM6 3330 run on 17670 batteries without damage to the LED?

It should be OK.

2 CR123, 3.5V + 3.5V = 7.0V

The 17670 should run from around 4.2V fully charged.

I'm not sure if the 17670 will fit. I have a Pelican PM6 3330 and RCR123's barely fit. Tight fit. I had to shake out the batteries

I ran mine with the RCR123's but only for a very short time.
