SureFire E1E + KL1

I just got my SureFire E1E and KL1 from Pocketlights.com today. First let me say that my order was shipped FAST and I wasn't overcharged on shipping (only USD 3.85 for S&H).

As for the intensity of the light: /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

The KL1 gives off more area light than the standard bulb that comes with the E1E, but that's OK cause I use it when I'm working on PCs and in equipment racks (where you need more area light anyway).

Time to start collecting more LED lights /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I also use my E1 together with the KL1. I find the light much more usable this way. IMHO The E1 incadescent beam is too narrow for close up work and too weak for throw. I usually use the E1/KL1 for close up work, and the E2 or M3 when I need more light/more throw.

Since I recieved my KL1, I haven't used the E1 incandescent head. That's been about 4 months.

I was playing with it this morning and was stunned by how far the throw is! Now I need to get the E2 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
