I don't understand! Please educate me oh wonderful people of CPF!
The new Fexix T1 was a max output of 225 for 1.5hrs. Now, the Tiablo A9 has 3.5hrs of run time at 270+ lumens. They both use two 123As. So, why can't the T1 have that long of a run time?
WHAT IS THE LOGIC

There is no logic. It is inflated claims of manufacturers, both of them, with Fenix being at least somewhere near reality.

If you want real info you need to wait for / look up CPF-made runtime graphs for those lights. We do have a couple of members doing very nice graphs. With them, you can at least get an idea about the real runtime.

With flux (lm) it is more difficult, and we do not have an IS at our disposal.

Runtime could mean anything, Runtime to 90%, 50%, 10%, usable light, till the LED doesn't glow anymore, maximum theoretical runtime...

I'd wait till someone confirms the runtime first.

Lumens is also the same problem, Bulb lumens, Out the front lumens, max spec lumens...
