There you go - dont take this too seriously :D

Recent names of newcomer flashlight companies seem to follow a rather simple scheme. Be careful, some of those are already taken :)

I like StreamOps. Lights made specifically for my super-stealth-blackops-mall-ninja-tactical flyfishing operations!

Yes, random *fire names are the best. Always makes me wonder if they're attempting to steal some thunder from Surefire.

Not on the list, but.... anyone remember NightCutter?

Favorite model = The one that was an Inova X5 clone but with a pocket clip and a hint of a strike bezel. Also had checkering on the barrel.

Gee, wish a certain company would go the same route.

*Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.*

That was a fun list.

But I can't believe you left out the both Tac- and -tac (short for tactical of course). Then you can have TacOps, UltraTac, and the ultimate name of a flashlight company: TacTac.

Oh yeah, and Nova, too. NovaLight wouldn't actually be such a bad name.

I like the Hellfire name I just saw on another thread. Is there a Dragonfire anywhere? I recall seeing a Spyderfire.

Lol, there are quite a few names you would NOT want, such as Feeblebeam, Dimclunker, Punylite, Lamefire, Flimsybulb, Fadeweak, Dullgleam, Battxplode, FaintLED, etc.

Battxplode was a good one DM51 and I liked DimFire too....made me laugh out loud. I have seen some weird ones in my time here however there were a few that were actually pretty well thought out.

I actually think Fire-Fly was a perfect name for that light...simple and effective.

I also like Orb Raw for the same reasons....simple and keeps meaning with the basic and effective nature of the lights function.

I think I remember reading a thread somewhere where Mr. Gransee came up with the name ARC after seeing a welders torch in action.....may be wrong on that however it is a good name.

All cute, but all I know is that I'm going to buy the first one called "Deathray".

And there's no way I'm going to use any of those sissy "protected" LithIons in it no matter what.
