SW02 / "Hard to Find" ???

I must be pretty stupid because I purchased a "RARE" SW02 tailcap (used) on ebay. $71.00 with shipping. "near mint cond"

Then I googled it and found plenty of dealers selling it for $62.00 including shipping. BRAND NEW IN PKG!

I had read here that these were out of production and hard to find. The SW01 even harder to find. What's up? Are folks importing these from surefirekorea?

I see the SW01 really is rare and hard to find. But the SW02 seems plentiful!

SW02 is current SF production and available from SF or dealers.

SW01 is out of production but not too uncommon in the private market.

There are a half dozen or so for sale in the Marketplace right now for $55-65.

I don't feel like I got ripped off - the switch is in perfect shape / just dumb

I must have imagined everything because I can't find any thread here stating that the SW02 is rare, etc...

I do dream about flashlights all the time / day and night---

That's Surefire. Many common parts and accessories are not listed on the website. This includes a number of bezels and tailcaps.

However, if you call, they will be glad to send you an SW02. It would be nice if they would add some of these things to the site, but I don't think it's going to happen.
