Surefire E2E LED upgrade Questions

I been thinking about upgrading my favorite Surefire my E2e. I done a number of searches and think I have fugured out what's going on but would like to make sure.

1) The KL4 head is rated at 100 lumens? The fact that the dealers listed it at 65 and Surefire lists it at 100 on their site is just due to specs being listed different? It is not due to there being two different heads?

2) There is not presently or known planned KX_ head that will be an updated version of the KL4 head for the E2e? The KX1 head was strickly for the one cell E1e.

3) Are there other more economic choices than the KL4 upgrade for the E2e that anyone would recommend.

Any recent KL4 will be putting out 100 lumens. Those dealers need to update. As of now, there are no public plans for a Kx4. That does not mean that it won't happen, though. For your E2e, I'd recommend the Kx2 head. Medium output and long runtime.
