Need help building or buying a work light.

Being my first post a little background info. My name is Greg and I am a Paramedic in CA. I generaly carry a 6P or my Novatac on and off duty. I have been very happy with both of these lights but they don't do everything I need. What I would like is a led light that has more throw at night with the same features/ UI as my Novatac. I have alot of mechanical and electrical knowledge or know people that do. Size still has to be reasonable to carry on my belt. Any help with components, suppliers, or manufactures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for any input.

You may want to look into a LED P60 dropin for the 6P to turn it into a 6PL. Would make it brighter and have better runtime. It would be a good compliment to the Novatac.
