mag light upgrade...

looking to upgrade my 4d and 2aa mag lights.....is this the way to go?? can you just drop these things in the body or is there some mode to do?

Both of those will work decently well. Pretty much you just unscrew the bulb retainer, take out the bulb and put the drop in into the 4d mag. Very simple, and it will be brighter than that old mag ever was. On the AA mag, take out bulb, put in the drop in, switch reflectors and you're good to go. Also quite simple.

There are bigger and better drop in mods for Mags, but you're looking at a lot more money, and in some cases long wait times to actually get one. So for starters the terralux should be just the thing. There really aren't many good production mods for mini mags, so that's about the best that can be had imo if you're looking for bright.

Those are good dropins. Pretty much the brightest and most efficient without spending 2x or 3x the money, especially at those prices.
