WOW that looks exactly like the old Q III

I still have my QIII in my car console, this would be a nice upgrade.

The Q-III was my first CPF buy over three years ago. It now resides at work and sees almost daily use. It had been upgraded with a TWOH, 20mm IMS, and mineral glass. I've also got one with an SSC, great flood beam for close quarters. I really like the way the Q-III fits my hand.

I never thought I'd buy another....Hmmmmm.

but 180lm on 1 CR123A for 4~5 hrs...isn't that a bit far fetch?

Ahhh! Now that's what I'm talkin' about :thumbsup:. Now if they'll just come out with the 2xCR123 version (upgrade of the X-3)...

That's been up on that website for a bit now. I noticed it in November and thought at the time that they should have introduced an upgraded led model last year when everyone was swapping out the LuxIII stars for Seoul Z-led P4 stars in their Q3's, myself included.
Personally, I think this new model is too litle, too late, but I'm sure others will say it's better late than never.

I wonder what pricing on them will be like?

Yeah, but did they redo the clip to give it some balls? Then it'd be a good purchase.

I chase lumens, throw and run-time just as much as the next guy (and have the lights to prove it ), but simplicity, reliability and compact size count for something too. That's why my 1xCR123 light has been the original Q-111 (until this new release) ; for 1xAA, my trusty CMG Infinity Ultra-G; and for 1xAAA, the ARC AAA-P (which I'm about to replace with the new DS).

Nothing fancy about any of them (compared with today's huge list of choices), but if I could only have three flashlights...

I looking forward to the Q-100 -- hope it comes at a reasonable price.

Love the pseudo-military S-F styling. It's been on the Nuwai website for months and in October I emailed the guys from EliteLED re release date. They told me the end of Oct (which year??) I've been waiting, but recently been distracted by the Fenix T1 which I suspect will steal some of its thunder. But.... I might have to own both if the price is right.

If they come out w/an upgraded X-3, as well, I might have to buy both

But they best not delay too long. They're already missed the Christmas season, as it is. Can't imagine what they're thinking.
